Synopsis

As Chief, Derek revitalizes the hospital's lecture series. He invites Richard, Bailey, and Callie to present pivotal surgical cases from their careers. Bailey recounts her early days as a hesitant resident, Callie reflects on a challenging polio case, and Richard shares a story of a patient diagnosed with GRID – a virus that would later be known as AIDS – a case he and Ellis tackled together.
