Synopsis

George and Derek continue their collaborative work, while Denny remains without a heart, and Meredith finds herself partnered with Callie. A twelve-week pregnant patient dies during surgery, and her parents desperately attempt to sustain the infant's life, a situation that generates friction between Derek and Addison. An overzealous doctor unexpectedly bridges the gap between two patients who are constantly at odds. Meanwhile, Finn persists in treating Doc for his ongoing medical issues.
