My initial reaction to news of this show was skepticism; it seemed like just another intentionally humorous take on Dr. Suess, similar to the live-action Cat in the Hat. However, I found myself pleasantly surprised. The series possesses a strong sense of humor and appealing animation. The voice performances are excellent, with Douglas’s portrayal of Guy being particularly noteworthy. It begins very well, experiences a minor lull, then recovers with a satisfying conclusion. I am eagerly anticipating Season 2.
