Synopsis

Eb’s persistent requests for a car, addressed to “Dad,” continue to irritate Oliver, who repeatedly refuses. Lisa, meanwhile, showers young Lori with presents. Feeling eclipsed within the Douglas family, a disheartened Eb runs away in search of employment. He briefly visits Drucker's store to confide in Sam, claiming that Oliver has kept him under strict control and that he lost $4000 on a reckless gambling trip to Las Vegas.
