Synopsis

Just two weeks remained until their wedding, and Eb and Darlene were still without a venue for the ceremony. Mr. Haney’s initial proposal – a complimentary space at a local car wash – proved unsuitable. His second idea, however, which included an entire houseful of furniture, secured Eb's agreement. Yet, Darlene’s father steadfastly refused to allow his daughter to marry within a furniture emporium’s front window, broadcast for all to see.
