Synopsis

The firm of Douglas and Williams is officially open, despite the sign still bearing the name Oliver Mendell Douglas—later to be known as Oliver Wendell Wilkie Holmes—as partner. The inexperienced secretary, Lisa, managed to damage an office typewriter before the new telephone line could even be connected to the building’s fire alarm bell. In an attempt to attract clients, she subsequently launched a grand opening promotion featuring free prizes and reduced legal fees.
