Synopsis

When Joe Carson stepped down from leading the Hooterville centennial celebration, Oliver eagerly took his place. His plan was to present a historical re-enactment of the town’s founding, with himself and Lisa cast as Horace and Doris Hooter. In the performance, saloon girl Doris would cleverly swindle Horace out of the funds he intended to use for a farm. Ultimately, he would recover his money, owing to her surprising talent as a card player, and they would marry, establishing their home in Hoot
