Synopsis

Lisa maintains that a woman in her family is obligated to marry an American every fourth generation, a tradition necessary to preserve the magnificent ring she now possesses. She entertains the residents of Hooterville with the tale of her great-great grandmother, the Queen of the Gypsies, and her romance with an American artist named Cornelius. The story unfolds with elements of intrigue and spirited dancing.
