Synopsis

Oliver insisted every farmer’s wife cultivate her own vegetables, so Lisa began a garden. Equipped with unhelpful pamphlets from Mr. Kimball and a small flask of perfume, she started to work. It was hardly an economical undertaking, considering the tractor she purchased, the farm supplies she acquired, and the wages she paid Alf and Ralph as her housekeepers.
