Synopsis

The Douglases found themselves puzzling over which of their hens was responsible for the peculiar, square eggs appearing in the nesting boxes. News of this unusual occurrence quickly spread, drawing the attention of Haney and a local chicken breeder, both eager to share in whatever might come of it. Yet, the oddly geometric shape of the eggs caused Oliver far less consternation than their toaster, which inexplicably sprang to life only when prompted with the word "five."
