Synopsis

Each summer, a cherished tradition unfolds: Great Performances presents the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s enchanting night concert held within the gardens of Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace. The program explores musical landscapes ranging from French Romanticism to Impressionism, and marks a debut for Metropolitan Opera music director Yannick Nézet-Séguin, who will lead the orchestra.
