Synopsis

Baritone Quinn Kelsey makes his Metropolitan Opera debut as Rigoletto, sharing the stage with soprano Rosa Feola as Gilda and tenor Piotr Beczała as the Duke of Mantua. The timeless tragedy of Verdi is reimagined in 1920s Europe, brought to life by Tony Award-winning director Bartlett Sher, and conducted by Maestro Daniele Rustioni. Varduhi Abrahamyan portrays Maddalena, while Andrea Mastroni is Sparafucile.
