Synopsis

Captured in February at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria, the celebrated performer presents Russian compositions by Rachmaninoff, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Tchaikovsky alongside pieces by Debussy, Dvořák, Fauré, and Strauss. Accompanied by Pavel Nebolsin on piano, the program also includes mezzo-soprano Elena Maximova for duets drawn from Offenbach’s “Les Contes d’Hoffmann” and Tchaikovsky’s “The Queen of Spades.”
