Journey with Scott Yoo to Spain and Morocco, where you'll encounter a composer often overlooked: Domenico Scarlatti. The preeminent keyboardist of his era, he served as the Queen of Spain’s private tutor. While drawing inspiration from the established styles of Vivaldi and Bach, Scarlatti wove into their structures the vibrant sounds of Spain – Moorish, Jewish, Gypsy, folk, dance, and guitar – forging a uniquely expressive musical voice.
