Synopsis

Henry IV, Part Two, is the second installment in the history plays known as The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses. Deep-seated rivalries give way to open conflict as the Wars of the Roses begin. The ailing King Henry finds himself diminished, eclipsed by Queen Margaret and her Lancastrian allies. His authority is further eroded by nobles alienated from the crown and aligned with the House of York. The ensuing years are marked by battle and bloodshed.
