Synopsis

The New York City Ballet's *Symphony in C* constitutes the second part of a special presentation showcasing four ballets by George Balanchine, the company's co-founder, each set to music by French composers. The program begins with Ravel's Sonatine, and concludes with Bizet's Symphony in C. Both performances are introduced by Peter Martins, the New York City Ballet's Ballet Master in Chief.
