Synopsis

William Kentridge, the acclaimed artist, offers a new vision of Alban Berg’s opera *Lulu*, featuring German soprano Marlis Petersen as the captivating and dangerous protagonist. A pivotal and infamous work of the 20th century, *Lulu* chronicles the story of a young woman who exerts profound sexual and emotional power over many, both men and women, who willingly fall under her spell. Lothar Koenigs, music director of the Welsh National Opera, leads the orchestra.
