Great Performances at the Metropolitan Opera presents Richard Wagner's *Tannhäuser*, conducted by James Levine. The Otto Schenk production marks its first revival at the Met in over a decade. Johan Botha debuts at the company as Tannhäuser, with Eva-Maria Westbroek as Elisabeth, Michelle DeYoung as Venus, Peter Mattei as Wolfram, and Günther Groissböck as the Landgrave.
