Synopsis

Alan Gilbert led the orchestra in a program of film scores by Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, and Luis Bacalov, performed by the New York Philharmonic. The concert featured the acclaimed violinist Joshua Bell, the celebrated soprano Renée Fleming, and the singer Josh Groban. Throughout the performance, animated graphics and film clips from iconic movies such as *La Dolce Vita*, *Cinema Paradiso*, *Once Upon a Time in the West*, and *Il Postino* were projected onto the screen.
