Synopsis

For the first time, choreographer Mark Morris’s celebrated work appears on television, introduced by Mikhail Baryshnikov. Morris achieved international recognition with this piece, set to George Frideric Handel’s *L’Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato*, with poetry by Milton. The performance was filmed in July 2014 at the Teatro Real in Madrid, Spain.
