Synopsis

Gioachino Rossini’s celebrated comedy, *Il Barbiere di Siviglia* (The Barber of Seville), boasts some of opera’s most familiar and beloved melodies. The current production features a vibrant young cast, including Lawrence Brownlee, Isabel Leonard, and Christopher Maltman, who makes his Met debut as Figaro, the barber whose talents extend far beyond the art of shaving.
