Synopsis

Borodin's Russian epic, *Prince Igor*, returned to the Metropolitan Opera stage after nearly a century, in a new production helmed by Dmitri Tcherniakov, making his debut at the company. The acclaimed staging features Ildar Abdrazakov as the titular prince, a 12th-century ruler who bravely defended Russia against the invading Polovtsian forces.
