Synopsis

Jonas Kaufmann, Marina Poplavskaya, and René Pape, three of opera's most celebrated singers, will perform the leading roles in a new production of Gounod’s *Faust*. The production is directed by Tony Award-winning Des McAnuff, marking his debut at the Metropolitan Opera. Yannick Nézet-Séguin will conduct his first performances of the opera with the Met.
