Synopsis

Shakespeare’s enduring soliloquy, “To be, or not to be,” finds fresh resonance as the iconic actors David Tennant and Sir Patrick Stewart—the latter recently honored with a knighthood—revisit their celebrated portrayals. They do so in a film adapted from the Royal Shakespeare Company's 2008 stage production of *Hamlet*, reimagined with contemporary costumes and settings for a television audience.
