Synopsis

Monty Halls journeys the river's entire 2000-kilometre course, tracing it from the untamed outer reefs of the Coral Sea to the dense mangrove swamps and humid rainforest that fringe its banks; from substantial, mountainous islands to minuscule coral cays rising just above the waterline; from the inky blackness of the ocean’s depths beyond the reef to the vibrant coral gardens flourishing in the sunlit shallows.
