Synopsis

The saying, "An Englishman's home is his castle," holds particular truth for Francis Shaw. He and his wife, Karen, along with their two young daughters, purchased the ruins of a fourteenth-century castle in Yorkshire, embarking on the extraordinary task of transforming a heap of stones into a dwelling of beauty. Nestled amidst rolling green fields, the setting is idyllic; yet the castle itself consisted of little more than four crumbling walls.
