Synopsis

Christine Benjamin and her husband, Peter, now reside in Medland Manor, an Edwardian house. Approaching their sixties, they find the residence has grown too expansive for their needs and have resolved to build a smaller home. While respecting the manor's traditional character, Peter and Christine were determined that their new dwelling would embrace contemporary design while remaining mindful of its location. The resulting house is a synthesis of styles: a traditional timber-frame cottage interw
