Synopsis

Kevin encountered Celia Brackenridge and Diana Woodward, a couple of university professors who had chosen to enter into civil partnership. They had engaged the assistance of industrial designers, who had devised a novel computer-assisted process for precisely cutting building components. While the technique possessed a certain ingenuity, its inventors had yet to construct an entire building with it.
