The dwindling of funds is a daunting reality for anyone undertaking a significant personal project. Few have pursued such an endeavor with such dedication as Robert and Milla Gaukroger. A year prior, when Kevin last encountered them, they were living in the unfinished structure of their ambitious Lake District home, along with their two children.
