Synopsis

Her teacher steered Victorique toward the classroom, introducing her to the assembled students. Avril attempted to catch her eye, but Victorique responded with sharp displeasure. Kujo insisted Victorique offer an apology, and when she refused, he and Avril resolved to continue their investigation into the Leviathan case without her assistance. Separately, Victorique found herself in conversation with Brian Roscoe, a friend of the deceased, on the clock tower's summit.
