Synopsis

Having lost his employment, J.J. diligently searched for new work. Yet, when Bookman arrived at the Evans’ home with an eviction notice stemming from overdue rent, J.J. resolved to accept a proposition from some questionable acquaintances. Simultaneously, Thelma considered abandoning her studies to secure full-time employment and assist the family.
