Synopsis

Florida and Carl’s connection had deepened considerably, and Carl felt compelled to share his intentions with J.J., Thelma, and Michael: he was planning to propose marriage to Florida. Yet, a subsequent visit to the doctor brought an abrupt change of heart; Carl received a diagnosis of lung cancer and resolved to end the relationship instead.
