Synopsis

The college cafeteria where Thelma ate was falling into a state of visible neglect. In response, she and several friends organized a demonstration on campus, picketing the administration building. It was during this time that she met Ibe, an exchange student hailing from Africa. They began to date, and soon he proposed that she move in with him. However, Thelma’s participation in the protest led to her suspension from college.
