Synopsis

The family was preparing for a move to Mississippi, where James had secured an encouraging new position. They held back, however, delaying the announcement to Bookman. Later, Willona organized a farewell gathering, a joyous occasion abruptly shattered by devastating news: James had died in a car accident.
