Synopsis

For a school assignment, Thelma traced her family history and uncovered a surprising fact: James’s father was not only alive but residing somewhere in the Chicago region. Yet, upon learning that Thelma had arranged for him to appear as a birthday surprise, James abruptly declined to meet him.
