Synopsis

Thelma found herself with the possibility of a scholarship to a prestigious boarding school in Michigan. Yet, scarcely had she learned of this opportunity when a privileged girl, connected to a prominent fraternity, approached her, eager for Thelma’s company. It wasn’t long before Thelma realized their interest stemmed solely from the fact that she was Black.
