Synopsis

The aftermath of the hospital gala cast a long shadow. Griff returned to the operating room, the sterile environment a stark contrast to the chaos of the night before, to perform a bypass surgery – his first since the shooting. Meanwhile, Malcolm faced a different kind of homecoming; his estranged mother arrived in town, bringing with her a complicated history and a set of expectations he wasn't sure he could meet.
