Dave rejoined the Hoffman crew, finding himself in immediate disagreement with Todd regarding their proposed mining strategy. Meanwhile, the Dakota men placed their hopes for the future on a fresh vein, while Parker secured a second opportunity at mining with one of the most substantial wash plants in the entire Klondike.
