Synopsis

A growing dread grips the Hoffmans as they suspect a significant loss – potentially thousands of dollars worth of gold – is being swept away from the tail end of their sluices. Faced with this alarming prospect, they are compelled to dismantle their wash plant and begin the arduous task of rebuilding it. Meanwhile, driven by a renewed hope for untouched gold deposits at Smith Creek, Parker embraces the life of a lumberjack, determined to return to the pursuit that once consumed him.
