Synopsis

A crew rebellion thrusts Todd Hoffman into the work of digging test holes on the claim. A palpable tension settles over them as they await news: whether they’ve unearthed a vein of gold or are poised to lose everything. Then, disaster strikes Fred; floods in North Dakota force him to abandon his mining endeavors and his home.
