Synopsis

Faced with a crippling sanitation workers' strike, the city unleashed an unconventional solution upon its overflowing refuse. A colony of microbes, engineered to consume petroleum and guided by nanotechnology, was deployed in an attempt to address New York's mounting waste crisis.
