Giri/Haji presents itself as a neo-crime thriller produced jointly by Japan and Britain. The show has a distinct visual style and clearly draws inspiration from the work of Quentin Tarantino. The narrative follows Kenzo Mori, portrayed by Takehiro Hira, a detective who seems worn down, and is sent to London under the guise of an exchange program.
