Synopsis

Gin and Hijikata discover Gengai, whose latest creation is the cause of their peculiar predicament – a body swap. He attempts a reversal, but the mechanism fails; something essential is absent. Gin recalls that a fragment of his soul now resides within a deceased feline, a detail they must now rectify. Their efforts are complicated by the Shinsengumi, emboldened by their newfound liberty, and Odd Jobs, whose newly enforced regulations appear determined to obstruct their path.
