Synopsis

The revelation of his name among those condemned to death served as Yaemon’s leverage. He pressed Gin to smuggle Asaemon to safety. Separately, Hijikata and Okita pursued their own lines of inquiry regarding the reaper, and in doing so, unearthed a conspiracy far wider than they initially imagined.
