Synopsis

The dwindling rations at Odd Jobs had finally pushed Sadaharu to his limit. He resolved to leave, to carve out a life for himself beyond its meager offerings. As he journeyed away, a sight arrested him: a gaunt, starving puppy, and he found himself unable to walk on without offering aid.
