Synopsis

Otose secured a winter retreat for Gintoki and the others at a mountain hot spring inn, nestled far from the city. They envisioned tranquil soaks in secluded waters, and so the group ascended the mountain path, only to find the inn utterly deserted and in a state of disrepair. With no return transport to Edo available, they were left with no option but to take up residence. Okami Oiwa greeted them warmly, but Gintoki and Shinpachi immediately noticed a translucent figure standing behind her.
