Synopsis

A pall hangs over Jim's hospital, a consequence of the lingering presence of children who perished in the polio ward abandoned decades ago. The intertwined fates of Aidan, Melinda, the Shinies, and the Shadows are converging toward a critical point, a climax where Melinda and Jim will starkly recognize the extent of their ignorance regarding Aidan’s abilities.
