Synopsis

Robert Richard Randall, a man known for his generosity and love of the sea, gifted Snug Harbor to the city in the 1800s, intending it as a haven of housing and support for aging sailors. Though no sailors reside there now, the estate is said to be haunted. The matron's cottage holds a particularly grim history; there, the young son of the matron, afflicted with mental illness, had once been chained in the basement.
