Synopsis

The Philadelphia Zoo, the nation's oldest, sits atop a site predating its establishment—a Native American burial ground, some say. Though no one speaks of animal spirits, zoo staff have reported unexplained phenomena: disembodied voices, footsteps echoing where no one is, fleeting apparitions, and faces glimpsed through glass. Misty shadows are frequently observed as well. With five buildings to explore, the team has a considerable task ahead.
