Synopsis

The house is notorious for serving as a refuge for John Wilkes Booth during his desperate flight after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Six months prior to the tragedy, Booth had sought shelter with Samuel Mudd, who tended to the actor’s broken leg. Though Mudd's role in the conspiracy remains debated, he was ultimately convicted of aiding and abetting. Today, the house, now a museum,
